John "bob vila" Gates graciously spent his saturday showing me how to do some custom woodworking. He has a fantastic shop and planned and fabricated the cherry trim for two doors and the pass through window. I learned about plinth blocks and why you shouldn't drink too much coffee and play with saws. We still have to apply the clearcoat and fill the nailholes, but everything is starting to come together.
